...to the 2012 LARC Summer Social Media and Language Teaching/Learning Workshop. This website will be the workshop's online epicenter, so please save it to your browser bookmarks.
This workshop brings a hands on approach to the exploration of web 2.0 in the language classroom, focusing on the nuts and bolts, while always referring back to our pedagogical roots (Backwards Deign, 5 Cs, Student-Centered Classroom). Each day invited guest presenters will demonstrate a web 2.0 tool and provide classroom examples. Then it is the participant's turn (with plenty of guidance and help) to work through the steps to set up, plan, and execute technology infused language activities. Whether you are a web 2.0 newbie, or experienced blogger, we will work together and support each other so each participant finds their achieves the goals they set for themselves.

Live Workshop Complete (July 30-August 3, 2012)

Go through each day, view the recorded presentation, and complete the assignments on your own to earn a certificate.

If you have any questions, concerns, or comments please contact the workshop facilitator, Evan Rubin - erubin@projects.sdsu.edu (More about Evan Rubin)
